Yeah they get it into their heads that they can change them into nice people. The amount of women who comment on how good looking Ted Bundy was and how intelligent he had been.. he was a sick fucker who snapped little girls necks like a twig and abandoned their dead bodies.. they shouldn’t give these sick bastards airtime.

Yeah mate. They are given a strange notoriety

It’s funny that women are drawn to watching documentaries on these sick fuckers, my stepdaughter is the same watching documentaries on Bundy, Gacey etc.. all these serial killers are sick cowards who usually kill defenceless women or children.

Some women even want to marry them. What's that all about

Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story: Netflix

Absolutely shocking stuff. I'm on episode 4 and will probably try and finish it by tomorrow if I can 😔

I'm probably going to watch that at some point.

According to the Racing Post it was due out yesterday  but if you read the article you might not bother

Oh really. It must be delayed then. I've not read racing post, but a bad review I guess

I think OP thought that the payments would come out over the same time as he spent them eg  deposited over 3 weeks  and  they would come out over 3 weeks  and not all to hit at once

Yeah,  it's not good what's happened, but not having a grip on your bank account is no defense for any retribution

It wouldn't be the first thread on here someone has gambled money BUT wasn't counting as they went

If I had spent £300 I would remember and definitely if it hadn't gone out of my bank account.

I agree with big bucks. I think op thought he'd got away with it and was pissed off when it eventually hit his account

They've all been hit at some stage with massive fines but they means nothing to companies like that David

I've been in my house from new and moved in over 20 years ago,  not once have I ever paid a bill online

My payment choice is paper bills

I've always refused a smart meter telling them the day they MUST fit it etc is the day I'll move providers,  total con / joke are smart meters and I've never bought into them.

Smart is for them NOT US

I pay direct debit as it tends to be cheaper, but like you I don't want a smart meter.

My old mum was with npower,  I deal with most of my mums bills and npower were really poor to deal with, we were able to leave around 2018

She was with a company called Bristol Energy and I couldn't fault them, but they went bust a short while back so now she's with Scottish Gas / British gas

    So far they've been ok

I've spoke about Scottish Power in this thread long ago and they drive me insane,  I only use my online account with them purely to upload reading when I get an email from them, that's it, after that I just need the paper bill sending to me for payment.

But after i upload the readings I always get a follow up email about 7 days later saying .................Dear Mr Bangers your bills are now ready for payment

I then need to send them an email asking for paper bills,  all was fine with Scottish Power until about 5 -6 years ago,  then they went right off a cliff

I used to be with Scottish Power. I found them ok tbh. With eon now and they seem fine

I was just wondering if anyone has had this issue. Basically I've been on Dam Slots a while and it's been fine. Expect I logged onto online banking last week and a ton of withdrawals were all taken the same day making me nearly £300 overdrawn! When looking at these transactions some are showing to be as far back as a month (I. E. Transaction date 25 July, withdrawal date 25 August). I always get a notification from my online banking when I put money on the site so why would they suddenly come out all together on this random date? I have asked for a list of all payments in together with date of transaction and date payment was taken. But they are being very vague and unhelpful.

If anyone could advise I'd be very grateful.

Even if the deposits are delayed going out of your account they should still be under pending and taken off you're available balance

When I moved in to my flat  it had a prepay meter in it .  I managed to have it removed and replaced by a normal meter.  I also had a gas cooker .   Even though they replaced the meter and gave me a copy of the paperwork  I never got a bill in 6 years.   All I ever paid was around 8 pounds a qtr for gas .   I  sold the flat   and never heard a thing about the electric bill !

The idea of getting a bill and not paying it will just lead to trouble.   Even if millions do not pay they will just work their  way through them one at a time as they are a utility  and have a duty to shareholders   and it will just ,mean people end up with a large electric bill    with a load of legal charges added.   They also will not hesitate to send in bailiffs  to collect once they get a judgement against you.

I suggest people struggling really go to that Citizens advice page I listed as it listed several ways to get money towards your bills including rates rebates and a warm home allowance as well as the 400 which as @MrUKHackz  says is spread over a number of months at 66/67 per month.  People on lower incomes really need to make sure they are getting all benefits they are allowed as well,   The amount of money that people are entitled to  that they do not claim each year  runs in to the billions

Anyone can easily go on the gov check benefits site and it will tell you what you may be entitled to.

Wouldn't let me copy the link for some reason

I noticed someone has spray painted a huge #DONTPAY with an anarchy sign in yellow on a wall locally.

I'm more shocked someone in the village knows what Twitter is!

A few years ago I was with npower and they failed to send me a bill for nearly 18 months although I kept chasing them.

Eventually they sent a bill and although it was their fault I still had to pay. I had to set up a payment plan and it took me 3 years to pay it off.

You can't just not pay as they will come to get you

The costs of red tape will mean it is just as cheap to give it to everyone it will also mean those that need it can get the help straight away  and it will mean that all people who need it will get it without somebody making an admin error  so somebody who needs it misses out.   I was surprised she was talking tax cuts with the amount of money that needs to be found for expenditure.   I doubt many of those who say it is wrong that people who do not need it get it and are most likely the people that will not need it will donate it to a charity that will help people in need of help.

I do get that, but just giving it to everyone isn't a level playing field. Yes the red tape may cost more but at least the money would be spread out more proportionally to whoever needs it more and how much they qualify for.

I don't know if they still do the winter fuel allowance but I knew quite a few people who simply didn't need it and used the money towards Christmas.

What she is proposing is costing 90 billion so tax cuts as you say would be surprising

I just read what our new PM has apparently proposed and personally it feels like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders, I've been shitting myself about the price rise due in October and then the next one in January and if she does indeed freeze it at a cap of £2500 per annum plus the £66 a month help for 6 months from October then I applaud her.

I'm not massively into politics so that's an uneducated opinion of course, but I am on the ground with the regular folk and we often have chats in the village club about our worries for the near future, it was also going to pretty much close down the majority of businesses from what I read, especially in my village, the shop my Mrs works for had spoke of there concern about the energy price and if they could afford to stay open and trade after Christmas so this news is a huge relief to my family.

That is good news. God knows how that will be paid for going forward, but right now it's now that matters.

It is also being reported that the sales of back up  generators are up 250%  on last year  due to people panicking over electricity black outs  here in Ireland

    Christ, it's like racketeering.

I heard liz truss is already being slated for her proposal to deal with it in as much that help will go to people who don't need it.

Any money must go to the people who need it most which brings in means testing which is a nightmare in itself to administer, but you simply can't allow children to suffer and elderly allowed to die for the fear of keeping warm

Ive hit it twice now . I couldn't get a sausage recently then all of a sudden ....bonuses !! all at 20/40p !!

Possibly the stake does make a difference as to what you can hit. As you know I used to play at £2 and above so maybe a potential 10x at that stake would not be possible as we all know the slots are programmed to only pay a particular amount at a particular time

Yes twice £116 before times 10 then £82 at the times 10 !!

That is very good. When I used to play if ever I got to x2 it would be all dead spins. Never hit the x10
