First race is a no go, 20 runners over 2 and half miles you’ve got better chance picking up Pamela Anderson on Weymouth beach. Second race you’ve got Baaeed, looks unbeatable but at 4/6 on we’ll give that a miss. Race 3, 20 runners over a mile, on the face of it looks like a swerve but with the 3 year old allowance looks like a good opportunity to fine a good 3 year old miler. Roscolyn at 9/1, won at goodwood before, has won on soft ground which bodes well for the forecast rain and gets the 9lb 3 year old allowance. 3.35 (race four) Battaash great horse, doesn’t seem to like the ground too soft. Dragon symbol 2nd fav, 3/1. Only ever had six runs, loves the ground soft and stays 6 furlongs so the stamina for that will help over over the stiff 5 here. Art power is an alternative but 5 might be a bit sharp and form is questionable. Race 5, 4.10. A horse I was looking out for as soon as the meeting started, Pablo Escobar 12/1. Has yet to fully prove himself on soft ground but three starts at the course has yielded 2 wins and a 2nd. Has some strong from against the likes of Anthony Van Dyk and Sir Ron Priestly. 4.45, race 6. 2 year olds, too many runners, too much risk and too many pints of Sagres to determine a winner. Race 7, not much to like tbh. Bit of a shit race a definitely at the end of this race up. One piece of form that sticks out is General lee at 20/1. Debut over 7 furlongs, 3/4 lengths behind Baradar who was only 3 lengths behind Mac sweeney in a group 1 over a mile on heavy ground. General lee is a three year old with potential who just won over 1 mile 2 looking like the step up in trip will suit. Too long, didn’t read? Advised bets 3.00 - Rhoscolyn 9/1 3.35 - Dragon Symbol 3/1 - Danger Art Power 6/1 4.10 - Pablo Escobar 12/1 5.20 - General Lee 20/1 My analysis for Day four, I have had a few Sagres so excuse the length and probable lack of knowledge.

Seems like quite a tricky track with a lot of luck in running needed. Definitely not a course you would feel confident betting big on.

Not the first time it's happened on that horse recently.

@Bangers With a clear run I feel like it would have won that, unlucky.

9/1 Angel Bleu was yesterday, no doubt a hefty rule four to be taken off of that though.
-
Great riding there from Dettori keeping Berkshire Shadow on the inside, no doubt would have caught him there with more room.
