Welcome to TGC's top man DAVID'S 'WOMENS FOOTBALL WORLD CUP COMPETITON' All you have to do is guess the total number of goals in the competition. There are 52 games in the tournament to give people a clue. All goals will be included except those scored in a penalty shoot out. Closest wins a spin on Paul's little prize wheel. Easy Peasy. I would appreciate a quick scan of the previous answers so there is no duplication, as the person who guessed first will win if there is a tie. Competition starts at 8pm on the 7th June.... so get your guesses in before then. My guess is 139

HERE WE GO !! Time for the 2nd ever TGC FA CUP.... All depends on the numbers that want to enter, but the prelim round will either take place on the 9th of November and/or 30th November 2019. So the knockout competition can start properly in January 2020, as with the real thing. The usual footy related version of 'IM IN' will guarantee entry to the comp. I don't know if our current champ HOTSHOTS will turn up and at least bring the trophy back? He won a £100 white rabbit feature buy last season, so its well worth taking part. Good Luck Everyone

CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL COMPETITION 2020 Wheeeey! Welcome TGC Racing enthusiasts, .....It's time for the Big Cheese, the Big Daddy of all festivals, Cheltenham 2020 has arrived. Again, I will be running two comps within one so to speak. There will be a main comp where everyone plays over 4 days, top of the table wins the prize(s).... and another knockout comp running alongside, using the same picks. So hopefully everyone gets more chance to win something. There will be a winners prize and runners up prizes for the podium finishers in the main comp, and a prize for winning the knockout. Its Free to have a go so no reason not to play. RULES: This year, it will be scored like our regular racing comp. So you will have to make a selection on every race, and you stake will be a virtual 1pt win or 0.5pnts ew. What horses you bet on are up to you COMPETITION DATES: TUESDAY 10TH , WEDNESDAY 11TH, THURSDAY 12TH AND FRIDAY 13TH MARCH 2020. Everyone will be part of the main game most importantly, but the first 32 to register (31 and me) will be entered in the knockout, as it saves me a lot of headache. Once I have 32, i will do the draw. So if you think you can dethrone our current champ @Jok3st3r give it a whirl..... as simple 'I'm in' with a nice comedy gif will suffice as confirmation. Thanks Everyone....any thoughts on how to improve the game are always welcome. Good Luck!

TGC CHAMPIONS LEAGUE (STYLE) FOOTBALL COMP 2020 We have had our mid season break, with the FA Cup being the focus of our attention recently...now its time to get back to the bread and butter of our season. The Premiership is shortly having its mid season break, so Part 3 of the seasons comp will start when their break is over in 3 weeks, around the 22nd February. Little experiment for this part...it will be exactly like Champions League format as much as i can make it. I hope to get 8 groups of 4. Everyone plays each other twice. Top 2 go through to the 2 leg knockout stages. Whereby the 8 group winners will be randomly drawn against the 8 group runners up. Then random draws will take place until the Final We normally had around 40 playing in parts 1 and 2 so I hope getting 32 will be easy?? I don't exclude anyone so if there are 35 players some groups will contain 5 players and we will have to have midweek fixtures in those groups, just to keep everyone on their toes. The usual 'Im In' or variety of plus associated footy funny will suffice to book your place. STC The winner will get a spin on the big prize wheel, and at least the runner up getting a small wheel spin, as will the highest individual scorer in any one game week, during the group stages. Cheers everyone. As usual any comments are welcome as I always look for ways to improve the comps.

No radio in work these days.... but I do have Cricket on in the summer when Im in my office. Radio is usually only on when Im in the kitchen, so no one else has to suffer.... lol Metallica at 4am!! great way to keep you going man.....
-
Guys in work used to have radio 2 on all the time. Bit too middle of the road for me. 70% of the time I have the radio on its Radio 6, the rest is Planet Rock, Kerrang! or Classic Rock (bit of a theme there....) Radio 6, only way to find out about new bands tbh. Does Test Match Special count?? grown up listening to it.

I think everyone is in bar me and looks like @Mad Slasher McGurk needs to pick as Brownman is still away. and @VillaLad I need a time of the first goalscorer in the Man Utd game from you squire. Cheers, should be good to go tonight then....
-
ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST..... If anyone knows anyone who is interested in playing for at least 4 weeks, let me know please.
-
nice to have friends in high places.... I was happy with my couple of runners. Had the second in the PP and the other a nice fast finishing 5th and one to note for next time over 7F. But it was a nice debut run from the tip you were given.
-
No idea, trainers with multiple entries are clouding the waters for me, unless they are there to help settle one of the newcomers.
-
Its a whopping 50p ew trixie. Not being a handicap, the last one is a real shot in the dark..... only beaten 1.5L in a similar race over the distance on debut. But loads others with chances of improvement in the race, 2 interesting first timers, and a group horse returning to a class 5. EZ haha. Got some money back tho.
-
speccy ew trio for tonight for interest. didn't do much last week, but having a nibble on these just in case there is some chat tonight CAFE SYDNEY 10/1 4.45, VALENTINES MIST 33/1 5.15 & MY SISTER JO 33/1 7.15
-
VALENTINES MIST 5.15 WOL. WARNING! You have to forgive it a poor last run. BUT in its last 2 runs over C&D it has finished 3rd. Once 3L behind the second fave here, Travelled. For that defeat it gets 12lb pull this time. The other 3rd came when he finished just half a length behind the fave for Division 1 of this race the 4.45, horse called Creative talent. Valentines has gone down in the weights since both those runs. If it comes back to the form of those runs the 33/1 about looks big, runs like it did last time and 333/1 would be a more realistic price. Chance you take. It will place or come near last imo.
-
you won this week!..... you fudged up Richie big time! do next weeks while your here.....
-
only for Dave by the looks of things......lol D&E were little better. Just shows how hard footy betting is....

Sorry to hear the original was stolen that must have been hearbraking. No insurance? Nice buys there tho. Your right a true bargain. Roadbike then. I would ask my mates but they spend fortunes on mountain bikes only. Unreal what they spend on suspensions especially.Cost of a decent holiday. No power meter holder?..... I thought even the casual cyclist had them these days??
