  1. I'd be up for this, looking forward to the world champs and if I remember correctly a comp like this was run a few years back which was good fun.
  2. How much shit do you make up? You've invented him being paid 100k per month, just plucked a number out the air for effect. Look through his last 6 months worth of videos, they average 45-55k views. He's had 100k views 4 times total in the last year, last over 6 months ago. Your stats don't work with this 1% sign up since it's an eroding figure. He has a stagnant audience proved by his stats. You don't know how affiliate revenue works. Let's just say he has 1000 sign ups, they each need to lose £100 just to cover this invented £100k. Every single one lose. What happens if half lose, half break even and the other half win? The casino is on a massive loss. I'd normally block/ignore people like you but your stupidity is entertaining. Like you genuinely invent numbers, can't back them up with a source and then invent more numbers as some sort of proof. It's laughable you think anyone would take you serious. I mean people like you and misinformation are dangerous because you'll spout your garbage with such conviction that other idiots will believe you and jump on board. The worst is, he could be being paid 100k per month (I doubt it) or at least have his streams funded to that level but you totally ruined any credibility by more imaginary nonesense and mental gymnastics.
  3. That's not what I asked. Yes we know he gets paid, you said it won't be less than 100k per month. Provide a source proving its more than 100k per month?
  4. Provide a source for bandit not playing a casino for less than 100k per month.
  5. So I've noticed that all the UK streamers I've seen who have started whoring out crypto casinos suddenly have much much deeper pockets than they used to. Since Crypro casinos have sadly been normalised now, streamers now have somewhere new to get sign ups and that sweet sweet affiliation money. As a result they are banging content out again. Streamers who had cut right down or even disappeared entirely have crawled out the woodwork along with smaller ones who just plodded are all shilling these casinos. So what Ive noticed is their bank rolls seems to have swollen ridiculously compared to pre crypto. I mean some of the smaller channels were doing 500-700 bonus hunts on lower stakes, putting out 2 or 3 videos a week are now putting out daily videos, often twice per day but now nearly every video has a 2k balance. This doesn't just apply to the smaller streamers, some of the larger ones are suddenly having much larger rolls or ability to create content. So finally, whats the score, where have they all got this huge increase in funds. It cant be affiliation rev because as more players switch to crypto they arent playing UK to generate affiliation income. Although there is a small chance I doubt its fake money. The obvious and most likely answer is that they are getting ridiculous deposit bonuses with wagering attached, how much wagering I couldn't guess. While I've answered my own question, I think its more that it doesn't seem to sit so well with me. I dont know why but it just seems like a lie having balances they clearly can't afford just to be able to churn out increased content to get sign ups. Guess I am just posting an observation because if the majority of viewers are happy, the casinos must be happy if they are giving such big bonuses and the streamers are ok with it, what I think doesn't really matter. Anyway typical rambling post, apologies in advance.
  6. I think a huge factor in lack of activity is due to the lack of streaming from the big man. Then you have to think about how much online casinos have changed and in turn streams have changed, will have driven away a lot of the older people who probably made up the core of the site. Few stalwarts left when Rolla attempted crypto and then you're suddenly where we are, a ghost town. I think Rolla has had a much more loyal core group however with that once they leave, they are less likely to return. Its what made the site great because you could have a decent discussion. The problem is with interaction so low people are going to come on here if they are new and think it's dead and with no regular streams there is no way of attracting new people. Saying all that, I would prefer a smaller sized community with decent people and discussion than a cess pit like it is over on Bandit's site. It's horrendous the way they blindly support him and the utter dross that is spewed. Nearly as bad as the comment section in his videos.
  7. Two instances of different casinos finding reasons not to play. Either you have the worst luck or something is amiss.
  8. When you have been gambling a while, a lot of people end up with two lives, the gambling one and your real one. Any money that goes into that gambling life your brain instantly devalues, mostly because you know you're likely to lose it and secondly its the only way to process the loss, disassociate it's real worth, partly so you can do it again and partly because youre numb to it. If you told your Mrs you dropped 1k and it didn't bother you she would no doubt lose her mind, tell a gambler and they would be like yeah I get that, easy done. It's just a mindset so many of us have/have had. I can drop 1k and not give a toss but if I have a tenner in my pocket and lose it I will turn the house upside down and dwell on it for days. I guess it's because when we lose its our fault and we are accountable but it eats our brain when it's not our fault.
  9. 3 years time I reckon you'll have to have membership card to put ant sort of bet on or play the FOBTs, all money will be processed through that and it will contain all you personal info along with your earnings etc.
  10. That's not really the discussion being had though, I'm talking about his motives and agenda. Whether I watch or dont, it doesn't impact the point I was making.
  11. I think participation was waning due to a number of different reasons. Lack of streams by Rolla or involvement in the site, people having just had enough of gambling etc. The site was very much being propped up by a core group of members with the odd drop in like myself. The switch to crypto has hit the spirit and support on the site I totally agree, whether the loss considering its a dying site outweighs the benefits going to crypto could bring I don't know. While I believe Rolla is overall a decent person we are mostly just usernames to him, despite being acquainted with us for so long. If it comes down to upsetting a few members on a dead forum or resurrecting his streaming and earning potential, as much as I don't like it being crypto I can understand why he would. End of the day, more stream is more sign ups, more people visiting the forum and breathing some life into it.
  12. I dont disagree and jury is still out on how Rolla handles it tbh while the bandit has made it very clear what his agenda is and priorities. Hes an utter parasite. I dont like the fact Rolla has gone crypto and despite his stated reasons for why he has, the 180 on the subject doesn't sit right with me. I dont believe the funds are fake, I think there would probably be some legalities to that but I do agree they have some arrangement in place that mitigates a huge amount of their losses. For instance I believe Bandit and Jimbo have both said they have agreed to produce 20 videos per month. Now that just isn't sustainable unless a large part of that is offset. We will just have to wait and see what pans out in the future.
  13. Even Steve... bandit is just proving himself as a desperately money grabbing mercenary. Basically disappeared for 2 years until new affiliation opportunities appear with crypto and suddenly he's banging out videos again. He's just doing an hour of bonus buys as it takes the least time possible and churns a video out for the sake of it. He's only about the money, doesn't give a shit about anyone signing up or viewing. Getting a lot of feedback that his videos are repeptitve and boring now but he won't change them because that will take effort. Just wants to do the bare minimum and I'm glad people are turning on him.
  14. Haha this thread is interesting to re read considering the recent conversations going on and everyone, including Rolla, has jumped on the crypto bandwagon. Be interesting to revisit in 6 months. My prediction is we won't have seen Rolla for a few months, he's too lazy to push the affiliation/promotion side of it and will be on another long break after cooking balls on bonus buys.
  15. No one is jealous of big wins, especially when you end up 20k down. Bonus buys are shit, im sure they contributed a large chunk of your losses. Hardly an example of why they should have been kept or don't lead to irresponsible gambling.
  16. Going to their forum now to see if anyone has gone over to call out Ryan about selling his mum out.
  17. Here is my view of all this, gambling has changed for the UK punter due to the restrictions placed by the UKGC and along with that the fact that most games are being built purely towards bonus buys and super bonus buys particularly to get the big wins. The odds of landing a natural super bonus is so slow that UK players are immediately on the back foot. This all forces them to go down the crypto route. I dont like crypto casinos, I hate the lack of regulation, the wild west landscape, the ability to bonus buy etc. I have always said bonus buys should be banned, they are not affordable or sustainable and if you don't have discipline will be the ruin of many gamblers. This leads to the situation we are in now where it is all just a mess. On to the streaming aspect, I think people should be able to stream where they want so they can gamble how they want (a la Rolla). But then it gets murkier depending on how they want to align and promote these casinos and push for sign ups (a la Bandit aka mercenary gimp). Some people might disagree but I think streamers have a duty of care with what they promote and how they promote it. For instance I think bandit is a bottom feeding parasite who disappeared for a year or two and then reappeared when there was a new income opportunity and is shamelessly whoring crypto to get that affiliation revenue. Every video he prompts viewers to his website where they can learn how to do VPNs etc, I despise it. A lot of streamers have jumped on the crypto band wagon because every single gambler will be a potential new sign up whereas previously it the UK market was pretty much saturated and all signed up. It really is only about the money. In regards to Rolla, I'm disappointed as you always held certain views and seem to have gone against them. I know you say its so you can gamble how you want to etc and I do appreciate you getting a fixed fee for just making content but I'm dubious as to whether you will end up going down the sign up route soon, you've taken the first step. Jury is out. I haven't seen a You Tube stream in forever but I will give you the videos you're putting out do align mostly with your style of gambling, even with bonus buys you're super degen. So that's why i think people are streaming/promoting crypto. My big gripe though is then responsible gambling. I think it is somewhat hypocritical for any website promoting crypto casinos in their current unregulated for to also advertise responsible gambling, at present crypto casinos are about the least responsible thing on the market, you can't have it both ways. If you're promoting crypto casinos, gamstop is basically null and void. Even a disclaimer page on a website highlighting the dangers of crypto casinos, stating they are unregulated etc would at least be something but I doubt many would since it may lead to less sign ups. So gambling is fucked in the UK and streamers are mostly mercenary. The last thing I'd say is that with the saturation of crypto casinos and bonus buys, most gambling videos are extremely boring and repetitive now. Just half an hour or an hour of bonus buy after bonus buy, then a new video the next day or two repeating it again. I used to enjoy watching Rollas live streams for the highs and lots, the comebacks or blow ups on roulette or blackjack, the random £50 bonuses or the highstakes bonus hunts, when 1000x was a big win and a double ronza. This applies to many streamers now, there is no journey to the videos. I never expected I would but I actually watch fruity slots now as they seem to play pretty similar to how Rolla used to (without the tables) with the addition of the odd bonus buy. Overall its a pretty shite landscape. Gambling is fucked, punters aren't protected and are being exposed to risks by mercenary streamers, 90% of streams and videos are boring and bandit is still getting sucked off by his followers for every shit video he puts out. Oh a bandit video, Sundays don't get better than this, fucking gimps. Things will get worse, the UKGC won't realise it because its not going through UKGC casinos and eventually the government or someone will finally do something when everyone is broke from bonus buys and crypto casinos, then and just then they might get regulated.
  18. I've voiced my opinion on this, I think gamstop is utterly pointless now and streamers need to remove it and possibly any reference to responsible gambling if streaming from an unlicensed casino. As to streamers who were formerly critical or gamstop and now going on to it, a very large part of that is they have affiliation deals with the casinos now and we now for many its purely about sign ups and revenue, they couldn't give a shit about the punter. Rolla has said he has reluctantly gone over as its the only way he can gamble how he wants, I kind of get that but also think it's a bit of a cop out. Bandit is just a mercenary, had all but disappeared until crypto became viable and soon as he's an affiliate with them he's banging out more content than ever. Just a parasite.
  19. Kinda rinse and repeating the crypto thread. I've got two perspectives on it, mine as a viewer and then that towards vulnerable gamblers. I'll still watch if he plays on crypto, I like to see Rolla win as a person and at least he is trying to be transparent. Personally, I'm on gamstop and whether crypto casinos end up totally legit or there is still a possibility of getting screwed I will never play on them. Online was my ultimate tilt place and I used to want to have a few spins on pay-day and invariably lose far far too much. I know I'd still struggle to control it but thankfully I'm in control of myself enough to not do it, with a nippa and mortgage now I can't go down that road again. For others on gamstop or vulnerable I see crypto casinos being streamed from as a liability, won't effect me but I don't for example like how bandit started it and suddenly there is a thread that became an almost how to guide on his site. That seems a step too far, not just promoting it but showing the door in. Personal opinion again, I think references to gamstop should be removed from all sites until there is some player protection. It's null and void going down the crypto route and that's probably my biggest gripe that a lot of players could end up in a hole again off the back of this new trend. It's very easy to say don't watch to people, don't do this etc but when people are ok gamstop they don't have that control in a lot of instances, that's the point. Some responsibility needs to be shown by the streamers, at the end of the day they are making money off promoting crypto (bandit for example). But at the end of the day it is here to say as others have said. I'd like some more protection for vulnerable players but what I want and what will happen are different things. It does show how badly the UKGC mishandled some things though that legit players are having to go down this route. Problem is games seem to be being built more and more where you can only win huge through certain bonus buys, that must impact regular play and with the infrequency that super bonuses drop etc so I can see why players see this as their only option. Conversely as I say from the vulnerable players perspective this is a huge danger but would have happened regardless since crypto casinos were not built to get around ukgc limitations which is why I think there is a level of responsibility on streamers.
  20. So normally there is a thread regarding the open, and other majors, and although a little late this year, wondered who everyone has backed. My current runners with a semi chance are A fitzpatrick at 700/1, 2.50 ew. Cink at 150/1 and Jordan at 125/1 both 10 ew. Had Siem at 500/1 and a good round today would have been interesting but he has blown up. Only small bets this year as couldn't get any on until Thursday afternoon so had to change who I backed to a degree. Biggest regret is that I wanted to get on Harman on Wednesday at 150/1 overall and 80/1 first round. He's been playing well and looked great in the Scottish open last week. Was down to 25/1 by time I put my bets on and swerved it. Really hopes he blows up tbh as bad as that seems. Straka was my other one at 200/1, started poorly but recovered a bit. Hoping he blows up too, EW money on both of them would have been decent and crying if Harman wins. As things stands, I'm thinking Mcilroy, Rahm or Young will make a run tomorrow. Depends if Harman can get through today and handle tomorrow's pressure. Feel sorry for Hatton, he has the game for the majors just seems to implode randomly. He's 1 under for the tournament but finished round 2 with a quadruple on the last, a par 5. Could easily have been a birdie and he's 6 under. Got low in rd 1 and fell apart a bit. Seems he's great at going low when the pressure isn't on but woild love for him to win one.
  21. Ah fair play, like I said I wasn't sure and just thought it was hinted at crypto. Cheers for clearing that up. Null and voids my point.
  22. I've already voiced my opinion on crypto casinos and what I view as a responsibility streamers have when using/promoting them so no point rehashing that. I think Rolla is great and tries to be as honest as he can be which I respect even if I don't agree with certain things. What I'm curious about though, is he mentioned in his YouTube video about not getting paid by a casino and I'd be interested to know if that was a crypto site, I think he hinted at it, but don't know if he confirmed it. Would also be curious for the reason and whether it is something any crypto could use to shaft a player. It's something voiced by many regarding the lack of regulation or accountability these casinos have which enables them to behave like this, Paul suffered it early but must be a red flag in regards to advertising any crypto casino in my opinion having first hand experience of not being paid. Obviously this is all heavily based on the fact it was a crypto casino that shafted him.
  23. You're still missing the point. Massive numbers of people, on gam stop and off of it wouldn't gamble at Curacao casinos because they are unregulated... same as crypto casinos. To a lot of these people, on gamstop and off of it, Rolla and Bandit streaming on crypto casinos gives that casino a stamp of approval, it negating the fact they are unregulated. No you can't necessarily always self exclude, depending on the casino and how you need to sign up you can always open new accounts. Anyway, I'm done, you're only interested in how things impact you, which is fine, but pointless flogging a dead horse.
